Morgan + Todd’s Copper Mountain Wedding

Capturing a Copper Mountain wedding is always special, and Morgan and Todd’s day in Frisco, Colorado, was no exception. This venue is a top pick for its breathtaking high-altitude mountain views.

On their big day, the weather at Copper Mountain started perfectly — sunny with a fresh layer of snow. But, as often happens in Colorado, things can change quickly. Just before the ceremony at Koko’s Hut, rain came in, and we had to move to the Mezzanine at the base. Morgan and Todd took it in stride and didn’t even bat an eye.

Their wedding was filled with cool, unique touches. They had Voodoo Donuts instead of a traditional cake. Todd gave out custom flasks to his groomsmen, and Morgan gave matching robes to her bridesmaids. A really special part was in Morgan’s dress — a note from her late mother sewn inside, reading, ‘I love you more than you’ll ever know!’

Morgan and Todd’s knack for rolling with the punches made the night unforgettable. This adaptability is essential for a Colorado mountain wedding, where the weather can change in a heartbeat at high altitudes.

Their wedding showed why it’s important to be flexible in Colorado. For those planning a mountain wedding, dive in, embrace the changes, and always have a backup plan just in case! The surprises make the best stories, just like at Morgan and Todd’s Copper Mountain wedding.
